In 2nd grade SEC English class, students practiced writing about their favorite meals through guided questions and pair conversations, developing their creativity, expression, and confidence. Building writing skills is essential for shaping their future English learning, which is why we practice this weekly with different topics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Math, students learned the concept of longer lengths using the metric unit, meter. Each student cut 1-meter paper tapes using a 30-cm wooden ruler as their measuring tool and then work together to combine the 1-meter tapes to measure the length and width of their classroom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Second grade is all about laying the groundwork for future learning.
