Story time

Before the children go home we like to read a story. This month our theme is food, so we read a book about jelly. This was our second time reading this story, and the children remembered lots of details from the story – like that jelly grows on jelly trees, and is taken to the jelly factory by flying elephant!

The children enjoyed guessing what flavours the jelly might be, and sharing their favourite flavours with their friends. Some children liked orange, some children liked grape, some children even liked matcha jelly!

Jelly is tasty and colourful, but don’t forget to eat lots of healthy food too!
