3年生は、2学期が始まってから植物の成長について学んできました。種から発芽した後の成長の様子を描き、植物の一生を理解することができたように思います。

1学期のころに植えた植物が実をつけ、種が新しくできました。子どもたちはそのことに喜び、またその種を植えてどのように育つのかを再び観察することを決めたようです。植物を育てるという体験を通して、自然についての理解が進んだと思います。

３F（SEC）では、児童の好奇心をくすぐり、活動させることを心がけています。自分の手を動かして学びの楽しさを今後も知っていってほしいと思います。

In the form of fruit, plants like sunflowers develop their seeds from their fruit. After seed germination, grade three students used diagrams to present the plant flowering and fruit development stage. They discovered that a plant’s life goes to repeat again and again.

In our SEC classroom, we help students ignite their curiosity and passion. A science activity like this continues to strengthen students’ learning abilities. The excitement in the room was palpable as students eagerly got their hands dirty and delved into the fascinating world of plant growth and reproduction. Through their hands-on experimentation, they gained a deeper understanding of the natural world around them.

The students wanted to do the process again by themselves and planted the seeds they have harvested. They learned to appreciate their efforts and were excited to give another life to a new plant.
