It seems like the students slept much more soundly for their last night at the SEC camp. Some wanted to stay in bed a little longer and took a little pushing to wake up. After breakfast, the students showed their independence by packing all of their belongings and tidying the room for check out. It was surprising how well everyone worked without much guidance from teachers! The rain in the night stopped to allow us to have a morning stroll through the beautiful Japanese garden. Then we were ready for our presentations on universal design. All the teachers were impressed by the excellent English demonstrated through the presentations. The students were super happy to finally see the AI story books and tote bags that they made from the previous day. It was a quiet bus ride home as we were all exhausted. Sad that the SEC camp is over, but happy to get home to rest! Most students held onto their tote bags, AI stories and prizes all the way home. I’m sure they will become precious souvenirs to remind us of the wonderful time we had with wonderful people at the SEC camp!


SECキャンプ最後の夜、子供たちはぐっすり眠れたようです。中にはもう少しベッドにいたい子もいて、起きるのに少し時間がかかる子もいました。
朝食後、子供たちは荷物をまとめて部屋を片付けるなど、自主性を発揮してチェックアウトに臨みました。先生方の指示がほとんどなくても、こんなにしっかり作業していたとは驚きです！
夜中に雨が止み、美しい日本庭園を散歩することができました。
その後、ユニバーサルデザインに関するプレゼンテーションの準備が整いました。プレゼンテーションを通して披露された素晴らしい英語に、先生方は皆感銘を受けていました。
子供たちは、前日に作ったAIストーリーブックとトートバッグをプレゼントされ、とても喜んでいました。
SECキャンプが終わってしまったのは寂しいですが、家に帰って休めるのは嬉しいです！
ほとんどの子供たちが、トートバッグ、AIストーリー、そして賞品をずっと手に持っていました。
SECキャンプで素敵な仲間と過ごした素敵な時間を思い出し、大切なお土産になったことと思います。
