In English class, students have been learning about the
values of self-identity which includes culture and the benefits of sharing and
understanding different cultures. Students have been creating their own quizzes
about Japanese culture on their iPads using an app called Kahoot. They
are choosing topics like food, traditions, festivals, and famous places, then
turning their ideas into fun questions which we plan to share with a class in
Australia. The SEC class is continuing to use their English skills, working
creatively with language and technology in a meaningful way.

英語の時間、子どもたちは文化を含む自己アイデンティティと、異文化をシェアし理解することの良さについて学んでいます。子どもたちはiPadでKahootというアプリを使って、日本文化に関するクイズを作っています。食べ物、伝統、祭り、有名な場所などのトピックを考え、アイデアを楽しい質問にまとめ、オーストラリアの子どもたちとシェアする予定です。SECクラスは英語力を活用し続け、言語とテクノロジーを創造的に、有意義な方法で活用しています。
