大運動場の土とはだしの広場の土に水を流すと…
「土の種類によって、水のしみこむ速さはどう違うのだろう？」という疑問を解決するため、はだしの広場の土や大運動場の土を使って実験スタート！

粒の大きさや手触りを比べながら、みんなでじっくり観察しました。
水がスッと落ちていく様子に「おぉ〜！」と驚きの声が上がる場面もありました。

Our 4th-grade students conducted a science experiment focused on “Where Rainwater Goes: How Water Soaks into Different Types of Soil.”
They investigated how the speed of water absorption varies between different soil types, such as playground soil and sand. By closely observing the grain sizes, students discussed and formed their own hypotheses. It was wonderful to see their excitement when they observed the differences firsthand!
