理科の授業ではたくさんの種を植えました。

ほうせんか、とうもろこし、ひまわり、おくら、大豆、にんじんなど野菜に花、種類もたくさんです。

にんじんの種をみては「小さい！」と驚きを班のメンバーとシェアしながら大切に植えていきました。

植える深さをいろいろ試して実験を自主的に行うチームも現れました！

対照実験などにもつながっていく、面白い視点をもっています！

これから、それぞれの育ちが楽しみですね。

【Every plant starts from a seed. 】

For SEC 3rd grade Science class, we took a challenge to plant different kinds of seeds. To get us started, we used seedling trays and filled them with seeding mixture. We pressed the soil, put in water, added more mixture again and flattened the surface. Then, we poke holes about 1 cm deep. Finally, we dropped the seeds into each holes and water the cells after.

It was fun working together in groups as each group sowed a different kind of seed. This is our first Science experiment and we allowed ourselves to try other more planting ways!

Let’s see which seeds will germinate!
For the next few days, we will watch them closely to see how our seeds will change.
