Happy 2026!

Welcome back Earth class to a new year and a new you!

It has been a long three weeks without Earth class and we missed each and every one of them. The new year has come with new looks for all of them. It is always such a surprise when you see children after even a small break because they are so many wonderful changes in them. the new year also makes us think of the beginning and the many ways in which they have grown. Moving on!

Our first Morning circle of the year was very lively. We jumped, we played and we danced! We even managed to have a 30 second nap time.

Here we are lining up to move to a different floor. A major milestone for us 🙂

We moved floors and got started on our first artwork of the new year.

They tried their best at gripping the paintbrush to paint their hands for a new year greeting.

While they patiently wait for their turn,  they are helping us prepare beans(まめ) for `Setsubun.`
