An out of this world Art (Cosmos)

The Cosmos class has been busy practicing their performance and preparing their artworks for the school’s upcoming Sports Day. One such artwork is making a class banner. The Cosmos class decided a space-themed banner with planets made by each of them.

For the planets, the Cosmos class made “Marbled” planets using shaving cream and watered down paint.

First, the students sprayed shaving cream on to the tray and dropped their favorite paint color using the dropper around the shaving cream.

After they are satisfied with the colors they have chosen, they used a stick to make swirls by mixing the paint and the shaving cream.

When the swirls were made, the students pressed a sheet of paper on the tray to stamp the paint and shaving cream on the paper. Afterwards, the teacher helped scrape the shaving cream off the paper using a scraper.

The students had so much fun and look how colorful each planets were. Truly an out of this world art!
