Let’s Make Koinobori!

Golden Week is just around the corner and what are better ways to celebrate the holiday than making fun Koinobori art?

That’s why we, Sun Class, spent this past week creating our very own Koinobori to bring home for the weekend!

We started the process by tearing traditional Japanese patterned  origami paper and sticking onto a paper cup.

And the cups are ready!!!

Then we moved onto the next stage by making dady, mommy, and kid fish.

We drew different patterns on plain colored origami paper, tore and stuck it on the fish.

With a little help from the teachers, we put everything together with a yarn.

And our Koinobori was now ready flaunt its beaufitul scales!

We had fun making our Koinobori and we cannot wait to make more art work after the holiday!
