V is for Volcano!

September brought a very special day to Sun Class, our Parents’ Day! With our families watching, there were a few nervous faces and shy smiles, but the Sun Kids did their best to show a glimpse of the fun and learning we enjoy every day.

From practicing addition to exploring letters and sounds, there was plenty happening – but we wanted to zoom in on one activity that had been brewing for days… V is for VOLCANO! 

Before the big day, our little scientists helped build and paint their very own volcano.

Then on Parents’ Day, they worked together to create many letter Vs with popsicle sticks before the countdown ended. Their reward? Making their volcano erupt with baking soda and vinegar! The excitement on their faces said it all!

It was messy, bubbly, and full of learning—but what made it even more special was having our families there to share the moment.
