2泊3日の合宿より4年生全員無事学校に戻ってきました。

SECの児童たちは滋賀県で琵琶湖を囲む豊かな自然を散策し、外国人の先生たちと英語で交流する時間を楽しみました。

合宿の最終課題として、児童は外国人の先生の出身国についてインタビューをし、その内容をまとめ、プレゼンテーションをしました。

カナダ、アメリカ、南アフリカについて詳しく知ることができました。内容だけでなく、話すときに一歩前に出るなど、人前で発表するときの大切なポイントも学びました。

子どもたちは、また外国人の先生たちに会いたい！と言っています。また会いに行けるとうれしいです。

Grade 4 🎇 SEC Camp Final Presentations 🏕️

The 4th grade students and staff all returned safely from our 2-nights, 3-days school trip. The SEC students went to Shiga prefecture. We enjoyed our time speaking English with other English teachers and exploring the abundant nature surrounding the lovely lake Biwa.

For our final project during the trip, students had to make a brief presentations on their English teacher’s countries. We were able to learn more about Canada, America and South Africa. Students wrote about famous places, TV shows, famous people, etc. We also learned good ways to present in front of people, like stepping forward when you are speaking.

We miss our English teachers already and would love to visit Shiga again soon!
