2022.03.04 3月　校長挨拶（学校だよりより）

Spring has begun and the weather will now begin to warm. We celebrate the graduation of Year 6 students and prepare for the new school year. As always, we are optimistic for the future and seeking new ways to develop and evolve Seibo Elementary School. The last two years of elementary school life has included various restrictions caused by corona and its variant waves. We sincerely thank families for their understanding and cooperation. We also praise each boy and girl for a marvelous and positive response. Seibo boys and girls have shown their desire to live fully while following safety protocols. As we begin the third year of corona-affected life from April, we renew our intention to conduct every event and full aspect of school life allowed to us within government guidelines, and conduct school life as normally as possible. Graduating Year 6 students have shown their leadership during these corona-affected years, setting a wonderful example for younger students to follow. We are sad to say goodbye to Year 6 students and parents. We remember every day of their smiling faces and heart filled efforts. We congratulate them for their studies, school activities and junior high school entrance. We wish each boy and girl and wonderful future as global angels of peace. We thank God for their wonderful growth during these six years.

春が近づくにつれ、気候は暖かくなり始めます。 6 年生の卒業を祝い、次の新学期の準備をします。いつものように、私たちは将来に前向きであり、京都聖母学院小学校を発展させ、進化させるための新しい方法を模索しているところです。小学校生活のこの 2 年間は、コロナとその変異種によって引き起こされるさまざまな制限がありました。ご不便をおかけして申し訳ございません。 保護者の皆様と子どもたちのご協力に感謝申し上げます。私たちはまた、それぞれの子どもたちが素晴らしく前向きな取り組みをしたことを称賛しています。聖母の子どもたちは、安全のための約束に従いながら通常のように過ごしたいという願いをもっています。コロナの影響を受けた生活の3 年目を 4 月から開始するにあたり、文部科学省や京都府のガイドラインを参考にできる限り行事や学校生活を実施し、通常の学校生活を送ることができるように考えています。卒業する 6 年生は、コロナの影響を受けながらもリーダーシップを発揮し、下級生が見習うべき素晴らしい模範を 示しました。 6 年生と保護者の皆さんに別れを告げるのは悲しいことです。彼らの笑顔と一生懸命努力していた日々が記憶に残っています。彼らの勉学や学校活動を称賛するとともに中学校入学に対しお祝い申し上げます。私たちは、すべての子どもたちに世界の平和の天使としての素晴らしい未来を願っています。この 6 年間の素晴らしい成長を神に感謝します。
