2020.01.17 素敵な成人の先輩

Last Monday we welcomed graduates back to the school for the “Coming of Age” ceremony. Fr. Sugawara blessed the group, several people including myself gave greetings to the students and everyone had a good time. Graduates spoke to me confidently in English telling me where they go to university, what countries they have visited and all about their future dreams. All of them said the memories of our school are very special for them. I was very impressed to see how our graduates grow up.

先週の月曜日、私たちは「成人のつどい」のために学校に帰ってきた卒業生を歓迎しました。 菅原神父様は新成人の皆さんを祝福し、来賓の方々とともに私もお祝いの言葉を贈り、楽しい時間を過ごしました。 ある卒業生は自信を持って英語で話し、通っている大学の場所や訪問した国、将来の夢について話しました。 彼らは皆、聖母小学校での思い出は彼らにとって非常に特別だと言いました。 私たちの卒業生がどのように成長したかを見て、私はとても感銘を受けました。
