2020.11.06 TOYLAND

Kids love to play with toys, right? It’s so fun. At the same time, art and design are among the most important skills for the middle and second half of the 21st century. How can we combine kids’ natural play fun and serious educational training? Today 2nd year students held a “TOYLAND” event in the school hall. Students created handmade toys with their own unique designs and methods of play. They displayed and presented their handmade toys. Then they explained the method of play to each other and played together. Many toys were very intricate. To prepare for today, each student had to fully imagine their toy in detail. After imagining the toy and its method of play, each student made a plan to practically create the toy from available materials. Actually, today was the last part of an innovation, design and creation project. It was a training for imagining a desired outcome, and then working backwards to create a plan to turn that imagination into practical reality. It was a very serious educational training for art, design, creation and project skills. So we are also very happy that it was so much fun for everyone! Today was TOYLAND.

子どもたちはおもちゃで遊ぶのが大好きですよね？ とても楽しいです。 同時に、アートとデザインは、21世紀の中期から後期にとって最も重要なスキルの1つです。 遊びの楽しさと教育とをどのように組み合わせることができるでしょうか？ 今日、2年生は「TOYLAND」イベントを開催しました。 子どもたちは、独自のデザインと遊び方で手作りのおもちゃを作りました。 彼らは手作りのおもちゃを展示して発表しました。 それからお互いに遊び方を説明し、一緒に遊びました。 多くのおもちゃはとても凝った作りでした。 今日の準備をするために、子どもたちは自分のおもちゃについて細かな部分まで想像する必要がありました。 おもちゃとその遊び方を考えた後、入手可能な材料から実際におもちゃを作成する計画を立てました。今日はイノベーション、デザイン、クリエーションプロジェクトの最後の部分でした。 それは、望ましい結果を想像し、その想像力を実際の現実に変える計画を作成するために取り組むためのトレーニングとなりました。 アート、デザイン、クリエーション、プロジェクトのスキルに関するとても重要な教育トレーニングでした。 子どもたちにとってとても楽しい1日になったことが嬉しいです！ 今日はTOYLANDでした。
