2020.07.22 1学期終業式

In a usual year we would hold the term ending ceremony in the hall. This year, we broadcast via video link to each classroom. After a Catholic message and prayer, I spoke to students about the summer vacation. I quickly reviewed the first term, which started with online learning and then a return to regular school. It was a term made difficult be wearing masks and precautions to avoid the virus. But it was also a wonderful term. Despite canceling various events, we were able to focus on the importance of everyday classes, classmates and cooperation. From tomorrow the summer vacation begins. I gave students five points of advice for the summer vacation.

1. Do your homework!

2. Stay cool. Drink water. Take breaks to cool down.

3. Help your family. Do some housework and cooperate at home with good manners.

4. Stay safe. Be careful of accidents and sickness such as the corona virus.

5. Come back happy after enjoying this special time. We only have the summer vacation once in a year. So we should take this opportunity to enjoy everything fully.

We want to see everyone back to school, happy, healthy and ready to start an excellent 2nd term.

例年，講堂で行っている終業式ですが，今年は放送室からのテレビ放送で行いました。瞑想とお祈りの後，夏休みについて話をしました。１学期は、オンライン学習から始まり，のちに通常授業にもどったことを伝えました。さまざまなウイルス対策や、毎日のマスク着用など、大変な１学期でした。でも、ふりかえると、素晴らしい学期だったとおもいます。さまざまなイベントをキャンセルしたにもかかわらず，毎日の授業へ集中すること，クラスメートと協力することの重要性について学ぶことができました。

明日から夏休みが始まります。夏休みにむけて子どもたちに５点アドバイスをしました。 

1.宿題をしましょう！ 

2.体調に気を付けましょう。水分を取り休憩して体を休めましょう。 

3.家族のお手伝いをしましょう。協力しあいましょう。

 4.安全を心がけましょう。新型コロナウイルスや事故や病気に注意してください。 

5.この特別な時間を楽しんで，幸せな気持ちを味わってください。夏休みは年に１度しかありません。ですから，この機会にいろいろなことを存分に楽しんでください。

私たちは，皆さんが学校に戻って来たとき，幸せで，健康で，素晴らしい2学期を始めることができるように願っています。
