卒業生のみなさん、卒業おめでとうございます。保護者の皆様、お子様のご卒業おめでとうございます。大塚司教様、赤野理事長、一緒にお祝してくださり、本当にありがとうございます。Thank you for attending the 66th Graduation of Kyoto Seibo Gakuin Elementary School. Thank you for understanding today’s special style.
Students, today is goodbye. Today you finish school. You were our family for 6 years. 小さい１年生の姿、それはあなたの6年前の姿です。But now you are big and strong. 一緒にたくさんお祈りしました。一緒にたくさん成長しました。一緒にたくさん覚えました。一緒にたくさん泣きました。一緒にたくさん反省しました。一緒に毎日頑張りました。一緒にたくさんの友達ができました。一緒にたくさん体験して力をつけました。It was a big 6 years. Now you are big and strong. It is very sad to say goodbye, but you are ready for Junior High School. You are ready for the next step in life.
私はもう一回自分の小学校時代に戻りたい。もう一回小学生になりたい。But I cannot. I cannot go back. 時計は前へ進む。時間の巻き戻しはできません。It is only a memory. これから、小学校時代はあなたの思い出として残るのです。But it is a sweet, sweet memory. Do you remember the 運動会? Do you remember the 修学旅行? Do you remember the Challenge Summer? Do you remember the 合唱祭? We did it together. It was amazing. Do you remember math class? Do you remember English class? Do you remember the PE and Art, too? Do you remember the club? Do you remember everything? Pick it up. Put it in your heart. Take it as your best memory. 毎日聖母で学んだことを思い出してください。
卒業生のみなさん you are Seibo family. 人生の次のステップを聖母で学んだことに自信を持って、聖母で学んだことを力にして、聖母で学んだ精神で積極的に向かっていきましょう。自分の力を信じましょう。できるか、できないかで迷うのではなく、するか、しないかの選択で考えましょう。You are Seibo students. できないことは一つもありません。You have Seibo power and spirit. God blesses you every day. できないことはないと言いながら、life is hard. Life is very hard. Today we have the Corona virus. We have to do a special style. いつも何か課題があるからこそ、頑張って乗り越えます。SDGs、温暖化もあなたの世代の課題となります。人生は簡単ではありません。一所懸命立ち向かうことが必要です。簡単ではないからこそ、意味があります。神様の愛、恵みと祝福をいただいています。それはきっと、素晴らしい明日を作ります。
Please say thank you to your mother and father. It’s not easy for a mother and father. あなたのため、毎日力を尽くしてくださいました。Say thank you to your sisters and brothers. Say thank you to your grandmother and grandfather, too. Say thank you to your classmates. They are your team. 一人の力では卒業はできません。一つのチームになって毎日、毎日支えられながら成長したからこそ、今日の卒業が迎えられたのです。Say thank you to your team. いつも感謝の気持ち。WE ARE SEIBO FAMILY FOREVER. Congratulations – Goodbye – Congratulations – Forever Seibo girls and boys.
